National Public Radio on The Source !

The authors of the book (The Source - the Untold Story -- Isis and Electricity Aquarian) and their editor Jodi Wille just returned from a trip to New York with the band YaHoWha 13 (Octavius, Sunflower and Djinn) !   

This was a successful trip that included meeting some awesome people, playing some awesome music (at the Knitting Factory) and other wonderful and exciting adventures.  This was a follow-up of the November 2007 trip to Los Angeles and these have proven to us that we have fans out there who are willing to support us so we will try to return the favor !

We were sooo stoked to get to know Dave Nuss and his band - The No-Neck Blues Band - for, without him, this trip would not have happened. 

We are working on other projects so watch this spot for good news in the future.

WE ALSO HAD A very successful trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco in November of 2007.  Below are some of the broad brush strokes of that trip: 

. . . And What a Trip It Was !

To set the stage . . . I am going to tell you of a few things which our Father said unto us !

He asked us to gather for the beginning of the Age of Aquarius – September 17, 2001 !   Many of us did that (in spite of the difficulty of traveling in that intense week after 9/11) and we have done it more often since.

He also asked us to use His Sacred Name.  And he asked us to SHARE his Sacred Name !  

In order to NOT simplify matters, he also asked us NOT to proselytize (to try to convert somebody to a religious faith or political doctrine) !   SUBTL E STUFF !   But only to be expected from a Father who also said:  “All Truth is but a Half Truth” !

And then he said that “It is through my music that I will teach after I am gone” !

And – lastly – he said that his band – Ya Ho Wha 13 – will tour at the beginning of the Age of Aquarius !

Had we forgotten ?    Did we not remember that he came unto each of us for a purpose ?   That he saved most of our asses ?  

Had we somehow rationalized that it was an accident that he came to us !

  The bands who took part . . . Ascended Masters in San Francisco and – particularly – Hecuba, who so selflessly gave of their time and creativity to enable this to happen.  And what can we say about ENTRANC E ?   Those folks are so awesome and they really carried a large part of the ball for us !  We are so grateful. 

At least 44 Source Family Members came to join us and/or take part in the events and meditations . . . and helped with so many details !  

Finally . . . There are no words to express our appreciation to our Brothers, Sunflower, Djinn and Octavius Aquarian, who left their lives (again !) to make the pilgrimage to that oh, so quixotic stage of life . . . and to overcome so much to provide us with that incomparable sound once again!   YA HO WHA !

So . . . this trip was originally planned in order to promote our new book (The Source:  The Untold Story of Father Yod, YaHoWha 13 and the Source Family) as best we could, and to do book signings in LA and San Francisco – and maybe see if there were enough acceptance and interest in our book to make it worthwhile to do this on a larger scale next year.  Somewhere along the way our publisher, Jodi, had the stroke of genius that it would benefit the book if the YaHoWha 13 band would agree to return from their 33 year state of hibernation and tour with us . . . and – of course – it certainly couldn’t hurt the band members IF they wanted the exposure as musicians.  And, well, that is essentially what happened. 

It was pretty mind blowing to go into book and record stores and see our book and records prominently displayed and actually selling !   Pretty heady stuff for people who have been laboring in seclusion for years and weren’t sure if ANYBODY would ever read it !   And then – as we went to the various venues to promote it – people would start talking about it . . . Both of the owners of the Bodhi Tree (Phil and Stan) came bounding down to see us and complimented us so warmly about it.  This really helped us feel more confident in our endeavors.   And then people started telling us – a theme which we heard over and over throughout the trip – that they just could not put it down and that it had meant so much to them and that this book had completely changed their lives !  

WOW !

One of our first appointments was with Jennifer – a journalist from National Public Radio – a wonderful lady who is now a dear friend – at the location of our former Source Restaurant (now the Cabo Cantina) and she interviewed us for a 7 minute segment.  She was so taken with what she saw and heard that she basically stalked us (her words) the rest of the time we were in LA !    To Jennifer Sharp (now “Genesis” Aquarian) – Holy Moly – what an incredible Soul !    You are forever in our hearts !

We had successful book signings, discussion groups and concerts at SkyLight Books, Freak Beat Records in the Valley, The Bodhi Tree spiritual book store, The Silent Movie Theatre and then there was a very big production at the Echoplex, a very current music venue, and a totally different vibe. Then off to San Francisco and the “Other Cinema” and the AQUARIUS BOOKS AND R ECORDS and the last event at the CAFÉ DU NORD !   The band was very well received and - in general - we had fun !
